The main duties of the post are:
– Assist in the management of NI’s Hydrometric Network.
– Analysis of historical data to aid understanding of river trends to assist in flood risk expertise.
– Manage and update the Rivers historical river level and flow database.
– Carry out a targeted gauging programme to review rating curves.
– Deliver hydrometric station upgrade works programme, including new sites and the management of internal and external contractors.
– Respond to data requests.
– Assist in stakeholder data reviews.

Essential Criteria:

– BTech HNC in Environmental, Science or Engineering discipline
– Other qualifications may be considered.
