Our client is looking for Scientific Officer to Join their team in Lisburn

Rate of Pay: £17.43

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Lisburn

Hours: 37 hours – Mon to Fri

Duration: Up to January 2026

Role Details:

We are offering one 8-week temporary Scientific Officer post based in Lisburn.
This post is primarily lab based.
Depending on applicant experience, a limited field role may also be included.
There is no provision for at home working.

Essential Criteria:

  • Access NI will be required for this role
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English and Science – Certificates are required as proof.
  • Previous experience of working within a UKAS accredited lab analysing water samples.

Desired Criteria:

Environmental sampling experience – preferably in and around water.
Proficient in Microsoft office – especially in the use of Excel
A current NWSMP level 1 qualification. (National Water safety Management Programme)
