Scientific Officer – Sampler – Lisburn.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Lisburn as a full-time Scientific Officer – Sampler

Administrator Pay Rate: £17.43 per hour

Hours of Work: 

• 37 Hours per week
•  Mon  – Fri  (08:00 – 18:00 flexible)

Job Duties: 

• Collection of scheduled regional river water samples and treated industrial effluent samples across NI using quality accredited methods
• Delivery of samples to DAERA Lisburn laboratories
• Completion of appropriate paperwork to ensure sample lifting, handling and storage meets requirements
• Completion of appropriate training in methods and H&S

Essential Criteria: 

• 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
• Full NI drivers licence

Desired Experience and Qualifications: 

• 6 months experience in remote water and/or material sampling at river and/or industrial sites

Further Information: 

An Access NI will be required for this role.
