£12.75 per hour (enhanced rates apply)
Immediate Start Available
37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern
Rotational rota (issued 2 weeks in advance):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- 10:00pm – 6:00am
Enhanced Pay:
- After 8pm & Saturdays: £17.22 per hour
- Sundays: £21.55 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting a Security / Car Park Assistant to provide a professional, customer-focused service within a healthcare setting.
You will play a key role in maintaining safety, supporting staff and patients, managing car parking, and responding to security incidents, while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol site (on foot and vehicle) to protect people and property
- Respond to incidents including security alerts, disturbances, and alarms
- Assist staff and patients, ensuring a safe environment at all times
- Monitor and manage car parking and traffic flow
- Report incidents, faults, and security breaches
- Maintain accurate logs and complete incident reports
- Operate CCTV (training provided)
- Provide support with portering and site duties when required
- Liaise with PSNI where necessary
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Trust policies
Essential Criteria
- Must be 18 years or over
- Minimum 2 years’ previous security experience
- Full UK driving licence (manual)
- Strong awareness of safety and security procedures
- Professional, calm, and reliable approach
