Job Description: Senior Administrative Officer
Location: Belfast

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Place-Shaping duties, focusing on processing house and land sales.
  • Investigate and evaluate applications/submissions from various divisions and organizations.
  • Prepare conveyancing drafts and manage leasehold and freehold purchases.
  • Generate title reports and provide observations based on standard and search entries.
  • Monitor and review files, ensuring adherence to timelines and maintaining updated paperwork.
  • Contribute to the preparation of statistical information and management reports.
  • Prepare written reports for senior management on Land & Regeneration Service functions.
  • Maintain and enhance complex Land & Regeneration Service databases and IT systems using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including applicants, statutory bodies, housing associations, and voluntary sector groups.

General:

  • Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Foster enduring and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and enforce all NIHE frameworks, policies, and procedures, including legal obligations related to equality, health and safety, information governance, and procurement.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned, within the scope of the role’s responsibilities and grade, to meet organizational needs.

Person Specification:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Essential: BTEC Higher or equivalent qualification, plus one year of relevant general administrative experience.

    OR

  • Essential: BTEC National or equivalent qualification, plus two years of relevant general administrative experience.
