Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst/Data Scientist to propel our organisation into a truly insight-driven and data-centric entity. With the integration of three businesses completed, we are embarking on the next phase of our journey, leveraging the combined power of data to revolutionise our operations.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, you will:

• Support the insight and data team, aiding the business in interpreting information and implementing measures for enhanced performance.
• Contribute insights, analysis, and recommendations to operational discussions, regular reporting, and post-implementation reviews.
• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to drive key business decisions.
• Provide regular reporting for data-led measurement of commercial activity and initiatives.
• Play a vital role in a business-wide operational change program, utilizing data to improve performance and identify opportunities.

Requirements

You should have:

• High numeric capability with a degree or equivalent qualification.
• Essential: Proficiency in SQL or Python, Advanced Excel.
• Essential: Experience in developing and using statistical models and machine learning in a business setting.
• Desirable: Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, Databricks, Alteryx.
• Experience in data wrangling within Microsoft Azure and Alteryx is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to convey actionable insights and complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
