Senior Finance Officer – Belfast.

We are searching for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our client in Belfast on a Permanent basis

• Permanent position
• 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with Flexible Working and Remote working available
• £26,845

  Job duties:

  1. You will be responsible for the management of the finance, contracts and procurement services
  2. Ensuring day to day accounting and financial management
  3. Work alongside and assisting payroll, annual budgeting and reporting on financial performance
  4. Management of 1 part time finance officer
  5. Organise and supervise all the financial activities
  6. To develop and advise on and implement policies related to the effective use of finance
  7. Ensure monthly financial management accounts are prepared for all services
  8. Working towards deadlines

  The ability to plan and prioritise workload
  Excellent communication skills
  High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  Good interpersonal and team working skills
  Able to be a self-starter with the ability to use initiative
  Demonstrate effective leadership skills
  Essential Criteria:
  A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Finance Environment AND a Financial Qualification
  OR 4 years experience in a Finance Environment
  Experience of purchase ledger and sales ledger work
  Knowledge of financial accounting software packages in particular Xero/QuickBooks Online
  DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  2 years financial experience of working in the charitable sector
