We’re Hiring! Part-Time Senior Household Recycling Attendant
Location: Sullatober
Household Recycling Centre, Carrickfergus
Contract: Initially 3 months
Hours: 19.5 per week
Pay: £13.69 per hour

Help make a cleaner, greener Borough while leading a committed team at one of our key recycling centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and supervise site staff
• Deliver excellent customer support and ensure safe site practices
• Monitor and record recycling streams, hazardous waste, and weighbridge use
• Maintain site cleanliness and coordinate cleaning supply orders
• Open and close the facility as keyholder, ensuring smooth running of public access
• Enforce health and safety protocols in line with site licensing and working plans
• Support recycling initiatives and assist members of the public with waste sorting

What You’ll Need

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in Waste Management
• Minimum one year of face-to-face customer service experience
• Solid knowledge of waste reduction and recycling practices
