We are currently recruiting for a Higher Scientific Officer based in Hillsborough. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Rate of pay: £17.94

Hours of work: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Occasional out of office hours or Weekend Work Required)

Key Responsibilities:

The post holder will be required to:

Develop a plan and then deliver on plan to collate, organise and digitise historical information and images relating to the science delivered by the site through history.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

Level 5 (Foundation Degree) or equivalent or higher Level qualification in a scientific discipline AND 1 years’ demonstrable experience* in relevant field

OR

Level 4 or equivalent (HNC) AND 2 years’ demonstrable experience* in relevant field

*experience defined as – organizing and cataloguing materials for future access such as librarian or archivist

using computer packages such as cataloguing software
