Are you a proactive and skilled professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We’re seeking a talented Staff Officer to join our dynamic team in Belfast City Centre. This role offers a chance to lead in programme capabilities and connectivity planning, contributing directly to the achievement of our departmental goals and objectives.
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Location: Belfast City Centre
- Duration: 6 months
- Rate of Pay: £17.09 per hour
Main Duties: As a Programme Lead, you will be instrumental in:
- Conducting thorough research, including policy and legislative analysis
- Providing evidence-based recommendations to management promptly
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to build effective networks
- Preparing briefings, submissions, and responses to correspondence
- Supporting capacity and capability building initiatives
- Monitoring budgets in line with departmental guidance
- Identifying opportunities for service delivery improvements
- Representing the division at various meetings and events
- Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade
Essential Experience: To thrive in this role, you must have:
- Education to Degree level
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Programme & Project management qualification
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent research and analytical abilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal prowess and relationship-building abilities
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Capacity for innovative thinking and problem-solving
- Programme & Project Management / Human Resource Management qualifications / skills/ background
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to Degree level (Evidence required at application)
