Position: Statistical Officer

Pay Rate: £18.48 per hour

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location:Colby House Stranmillis Court, Belfast BT9 5RR

Length of Contract: 3 months with possible extension

Hours of Work: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday

Essential Experience:

• Practical experience in applying data analysis techniques using statistical programming languages (eg.. R, SQL).

• Writing reports based on statistical data;

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a Team and with key stakeholders.

• Good communication skills (verbal and written) to engage with a wide audience including interviewers and customers.

• The post will also require the Statistical Officer to have access to own form of transport and available to travel throughout Northern Ireland. The post holder will be required to visit schools and manage the data collection process in participating schools.

In addition, to the above, the following experience is also desired:
• Use of Blaise software.
• Management of survey fieldwork/data collection

 

Essential Criteria:

Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (must be able to show certificates)

Also, evidence of a degree (in any subject)
