Position: Statistical Officer (SO)
Pay Rate: £19.59 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5
Duration: 4/10/26 with possibility of extension
Start Date: 6 July 2026
Location: Annex 2, Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate
Job Duties:
- Collate, validate and prepare statistical publications on hospital waiting times.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE’s A*-C including Maths and English (must be able to show evidence)
- Applicants must have At least a second class honours degree [2.2] that includes at least one module in statistics, data analysis or social science research methods
- A strong level of technical skill is needed for this post, including proficiency in MS Office packages and coding experience in packages such as R.

*The successful applicant will be required to complete an Access NI during registration*
