The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Stock Controller / Buyer to join our client in Wigan

Our client is a manufacturing business who has experienced growth over the last few years, you will join a small but busy team responsible for the inventory and buying of raw materials.

Hours of work:

Salary:
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per annum ( DOE)

20 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays.

About the Role:
Join our team as a Buyer/Stock Controller where you will be an integral part of a thriving business. You will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the sourcing and company’s inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching, sourcing, and purchasing quality products and materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of stock.
• Experience with MRP and stock replenishment systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to understand procurement needs and optimise costs.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, identifying areas for cost savings andefficiency.
• Monitor and analyse stock performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Excel and general Microsoft Office programmes.
• Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance.

Skills / Experience:

• Excellent Team Player and Good Communication Skills
• 3 years experience in procurement or inventory roles.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
