Supply Chain Planner – £28,000-£32,000 – Food – Burnley

I have an amazing opportunity with my client based in Burnley, they’re looking for a switched on, driven Supply Chain Planner who is looking to further their experience within planning and procurement!

Hours: Mon-Fri Flexible Office Hours (7-3:30/8-4:30) – 2 days a week hybrid available

Salary: Up to £32,000 (Dependant on experience)

Location: Burnley

The role’s main responsibilities are forecasting and precise stock management planning for your range, managing stock levels to ensure availability and targets are hit with profitability.

You will be closely with the procurement team, Senior Buyer and Head of Buying giving you great exposure to new skills outside of planning. As well as analysing the performance of ranges, new product launches and the delivery of long lasting improvements in availability and waste.

What you will do

• Forecasting and Inventory Planning
• Management of product and supplier data
• Accountability for availability and waste within specific category
• Accuracy of daily price fluctuations data
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, conduct supplier review, ensure supplier payments are on time
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure optimum stock management, deliveries and collections across UK and Europe

What you need to have

• Some experience in either Buying or Supply Planning within Food – ESSENTIAL
• Negotiation skills/experience
• Supplier management experience
• Proactive, driven with a great work ethic
