Job Title: Support Grade Band 2

Type: Full-Time

Duration: 3 months

Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and record DSIB/Virology samples.
• Work to ISO17025 standards, ensuring accreditation compliance.
• Collaborate in a team for timely diagnostic/statutory results.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain lab records using Excel, scanning, filing, and emailing.
• Dispose of Virology waste, ensure lab cleanliness, and instrument maintenance.
• Order/store items, conduct stocktaking, and monitor consumables.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs, including a science subject.
• General science background preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory environment is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills.
• Team player with flexibility for varying work hours.
