Working hours:

9am – 5pm 4 days a week, 1 out of 2 weekends in. 30hrs a week

Job Summary / Main Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Services Housekeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cleaning, catering, and laundry services within our facility.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:
Catering:

• Prepare beverages, snacks, and meals as per menu requirements.
• Order food, maintain stocks, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Comply with food hygiene control systems.
• Label and date food upon delivery.
• Safely store food and clean kitchen equipment.

Cleaning:

• Clean sinks, baths, toilets, showers, and urinals.
• Perform damp cleaning of furniture, fixtures, fittings, paintwork, tiles, and glass partitions.
• Carry out all floor maintenance activities including vacuuming, mopping, and machine scrubbing.

Laundry:

• Hand wash non-launderable items.
• Launder and iron personal clothing, bed linen, towels, etc.
• Clean laundry equipment.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide a caring service and treat everyone with courtesy and respect.
• Promote effective team working and maintain openness and transparency.
• Attend work regularly and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Comply with health and safety policies and regulations.
• Adhere to equality and good relations duties.
• Maintain high standards of personal accountability.
• Uphold the HPSS Code of Conduct.

Essential Criteria:

Over 18

Paid experience in cooking for a large family
group.
