We are currently recruiting a Switchboard operator to join our client in Daisy Hill
- Banking hours
- £11.45 – £20.95 per hour depending on the shift worked
- Immediate starts
- Hours : Must be flexible to cover all shifts including nightshift ; 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, 11pm – 8am
Duties include:
- Operate the Trust Telephone Systems in a prompt, efficient and pleasant manner
- Have the ability to prioritise job responsibilities, particularly in the event of emergencies, system failures etc
- Operate the Trust Internal/External Paging Systems & other communication platforms
- Deal with emergency calls regarding medical emergencies i.e Cardiac arrests, maternity, major incidents etc.
- Monitor estates alarm board & report faults/alarms to appropriate person.
- Participate in live exercise drills for all emergency teams.
Essential Criteria:
5 GCSE’s to include English & Maths at grade C or above (Or equivalent qualifications
(Or 2 years Administration experience)
And 1 year experience in an administration role
Experience in answering a busy switchboard
