Our public sector client seeks a Temporary Ongoing Switchboard Telephonist based in Craigavon
Hours of Work 20+ hr , To cover mostly night duties but will also include, evening, weekend and day shifts.

There will be times when the shifts for this post will be short notice so we need a candidate who is fully flexible.

Pay rate standard £11.45 ph
past 8pm & Saturday £16.14 ph
Sunday £20.95p

Duties include:

1. Operate the Trust Telephone Systems in a prompt, efficient and pleasant manne
2. Have the ability to prioritise job responsibilities, particularly in the event of emergencies, system failures etc
3. Operate the Trust Internal/External Paging Systems & other communication platforms
4. Deal with emergency calls regarding medical emergencies i.e Cardiac arrests, maternity, major incidents etc.
5. Monitor estates alarm board & report faults/alarms to appropriate person.
6. Participate in live exercise drills for all emergency teams.

Essential Criteria:

5 GCSE’s to include English & Maths at grade C or above (Or equivalent qualifications

(Or 2 years Administration experience)

And 1 year experience in an administration role

Experience in answering a busy switchboard
