We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to work from our Ballymena office, delivering essential services to our valued customers.

Location: Ballymena

Duration: 51 weeks with the possibility of extension

Rate of Pay: £11.99 per hour

Start Date: ASAP – Must be fully registered to start

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexible working)

Main Duties Include:

As a Telephony Officer, you will be at the forefront of assisting customers through the current Cost of Living crisis, with future responsibilities focused on delivering crucial Retirement Services. Rest assured, full training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed to excel in this role. Your main duties and essential skills will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Effective Call Handling: Providing exceptional customer service through telephone interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrating clear and empathetic verbal and written communication.
  • Building Rapport: Establishing positive connections with both colleagues and customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Deadline Management: Working with precision within specified timelines to achieve targets.
  • IT Proficiency: Basic IT skills and computer literacy with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Organization: Maintaining an organized approach with strong time management skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Building relationships and resolving customer inquiries effectively.
  • Work Ethic: Displaying a strong work ethic and a desire for personal development.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintaining excellent attendance and timekeeping.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSEs A-C, including Maths and English (Proof required at the time of application).
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete an AccessNI check.

Please note that these roles are currently office-based, but there may be opportunities for remote working in the future.
