Location: Carrickfergus
Pay Grade: £13.26 per hour
Hours: 27 hours per week
Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Toilet Attendant to join our team in Carrickfergus. This is a key public-facing role ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of public toilet facilities. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of public toilet facilities.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
• Report any maintenance issues or vandalism.
• Interact courteously with members of the public.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Criteria (Shortlisting):

1. Basic level of literacy
2. Good communication skills, including the ability to deal with difficult situations such as aggression from members of the public
3. Understanding of the duties associated with the post
4. Awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace

Additional Information:

• This is a temporary post for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Uniform and training will be provided.
• Applicants must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
