We are currently recruiting for Tour Guides based at Portrush Coastal Zone. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: 2nd June, 2025
Location: Portrush
Duration: 21st September 2025
Hours of work: 5 Days over 7; 9am-5pm
Main Duties:
– To man the Exhibition Centre at Portrush Coastal Zone (PCZ)
– Open and close the building daily.
– Work 5 days over 7 9am-5pm.
– Feeding of live creatures and carry out water change as instructed.
– Comply and sign PCZ Risk Assessment.
– Relay information to visitors on sea life in tanks and assist with any groups visiting the centre.
– Produce weekly time sheets to Manager by Friday of each week.
– Always ensure security of building.
– Any further instructions from Manager.
Essential Criteria:
– 5 GCSE’s A-c to include Maths & English (Must be able to provide proof)
– Previous customer service experience
Desirable Criteria:
– An interest in marine life
– First aid training
