Position: Trainee Revenue Services Administrator

🎯 Role Overview
As a Trainee Revenue Services Administrator, you will support the Revenue Services Administration team by delivering a range of administrative functions. This role is ideal for a motivated and responsible individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic business unit.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and arrange customer appointments for meter changes, ensuring high standards of customer service
- Communicate professionally with customers, including in challenging situations
- Handle customer enquiries and coordinate issue resolution with NIE Networks, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Process charges to electricity suppliers for Revenue Services activities
- Prepare customer bills in line with industry procedures
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and field operatives
- Manage confidential and sensitive data in compliance with data protection regulations
- Maintain daily spreadsheets and compile monthly performance figures
- Perform general administrative duties as required
👤 Candidate Profile
✅ Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including Mathematics and English Language
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective team player with strong organisational and planning abilities
- Confident communicator with negotiation and influencing skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable in a changing business environment
- Full, current driving licence

- Awareness of the electricity market in Northern Ireland
