We are recruiting an Usher to join our client in Ballymena
£12.85 per hour
Casual as and when required (Must be flexible)

Candidates must have 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include English and Maths
1 years experience of working in a similar post, working directly with the public in a customer focused environment
The main responsibility is to provide a high standard of customer service to users of The Braid, Ballymena Town Hall, Museum and Art Centre, and other Council Buildings within Mid and East
Antrim Borough.

Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist, all hirers and users in the use of the premises.
- Implement Emergency Procedures including Fire Evacuation and assisting
- public from the building.
- Carry out cleaning duties at The Braid, Ballymena Town Hall, Museum and
Arts Centre, including the clearing and cleaning of the bar to ensure that it
meets the required hygiene standards. - Assist in the preparation of activity areas. Stage, function rooms and
ancillary facilities in advance of use. - Report promptly any problems or failures of equipment or procedures.
- Prepare the bar for service ensuring that it can open promptly before
performances/events. - Comply with all licensing conditions relating to the supply of alcohol.
- Use the till and other systems to ensure the correct recording of sales and
stock and cash up the till at the end of the shift as required. - Restock the Bar, and advise the Duty Officer of any shortages of stock as
appropriate. - Maintain hygiene and Food Safety requirements
