We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Antrim as a full-time Veterinary Nursing Lecturer. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Administrator Pay Rate: £21.35 per hour

Start Date: 16th March

Location: Antrim Greenmount

Hours of Work: 

  • 37 Hours per week
  • Monday to Friday

Job Duties: 

Lecturing role to both Level 2 Veterinary Care Support and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing students. This role will include preparation and delivery of teaching, assessment of students, participation in college activities and involvement in quality assurance.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Hold a veterinary qualification at honours degree level or higher.
  • Be technically competent in the area and subject for which they are delivering training
  • Have recent relevant experience in the specific area they will be delivering and assessing
  • Be occupationally knowledgeable in the area for which they are delivering training
  • Be currently registered with the RCVS

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hold or be working towards a nationally recognised teaching or assessing qualification.

An Access NI will be required for this role:

  • A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
