My client based in Middlesbrough is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The company is rapidly expanding in their industry and is looking for someone with invaluable knowledge of the logistics sector to drive the business forward.

Duties will include:

• Management of up to 21 staff members
• To oversee the onboarding and training of new team members
• To create and implement training plans, risk assessments and personal development plans
• Keeping up to date records for the above
• Monitoring key KPI’s to ensure consistent performance
• Delivery on all budget requirements
• To continuously identify areas for improvement, propose, and implement robust solutions
• To be competent using computers, including Microsoft Word/Excel, WMS and order management systems for e-commerce business
• To respond to queries from shift supervisors outside of business hours
• Completing staff rotas and timesheets, ensuring a full team per each shift
• Liaising between the transport planner and couriers to determine delivery estimates
• A FLT licence would be preferred but not essential
• Effectively manage all depot processes, including ensuring compliance to appropriate health & safety and security procedures

Salary: £34k-£38k depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm (some flexibility with this if required)

Role: Permanent, Immediate start for the right candidate
