Are you ready to step into a rewarding role as a Warehouse Operative? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Position: Warehouse Operative
Working Hours:
Monday 8am – 4pm
Tuesday 6am – 2pm
Wednesday 8am – 4pm
Thursday 6am – 2pm
Friday 6am – 2pm
Hourly Rate: £11.45 (Paid Weekly)
Job Summary / Main Purpose: As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an integral part of our logistics team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and organized handling of goods within the warehouse. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to work.
Main Duties / Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
- Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
- Pick and pack items according to order requirements.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, with precision and safety.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Criteria: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
