We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Newtownards as a full-time Work Coach (EO2). This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.

Administrator Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Administrator hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

About the Work Coach role:

  • Executive Officer 2 will be a Work Coach, based in a Front Office in the local JBO, who will assist claimants to prepare for work, secure employment and maintain sustained employment.
  • Work Coaches will work directly with UC claimants and use effective coaching techniques, conduct Work Focused interviews and engage with claimants online to assist claimants into work. In addition to face-to-face interviews, Work Coaches will use a range of channels with emphasis on the digital service to support claimants and their families to become more financially independent through work.
  • Work Coaches motivate and challenge the claimant to ensure that all interactions are focused on work

We’re looking for…

  • Effective call handling skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work accurately within set deadlines and to achieve targets
  • Basic IT skills / computer literacy with an aptitude for learning new systems
  • Organised with good time management skill
