Job Title: Workshop Manager
Hours: Mon – Friday 7am – 5pm or 8am – 6pm (along with alternate Saturdays (7am – 12pm), will be required
as the business dictates)
Salary: £35,000p/a – £40,000p/a DOE
Location: Stockport, Bredbury.
PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY
Purpose:
To manage the workshop to ensure a profitable, efficient & safe site that meets or exceeds customer expectations and company targets.
Dutie include:
* Planning the daily workload of the workshop, office & drivers to ensure customer requirements are met and update schedules.
* Liaising with customers regarding service schedules, updates, authorities and completion of work
* Raising of job cards, estimates & invoices as required and update status of jobs on the system in an accurate and timely fashion
* Ensure any customer online portals are used correctly
* Ensuring that parts are available for the job at the correct time
* Processing purchase orders accurately
* Complete costing and pre-invoicing duties where required
* Manage the WIP
* Maintaining discipline across the whole site.
* Ensuring that the site is tidy, housekeeping standards are maintained and site is secure.
* Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a proper fashion.
* Ensuring all Health & Safety arrangements are in place.
* Promoting Health and Safety within the depot.
* Undertake any reasonable duty specified by Company Directors
Benefits:
* Mon to Fri 7am to 5pm / 8am to 6pm
* Working out of these hours, along with alternate Saturdays (7am – 12pm), will be required as the business dictates

* 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (increasing by 1 day after 2 years’ service),
