Refer a Friend – Terms & conditions

The referral process is really simple… but does come with some important T&Cs Process summary:  To refer a friend you must fill in the referral form at https://therecruitmentco.uk/about/refer-a-friend/, submitting the details of the person you recommend. Permission from the referee must have been granted in advance of submission.

• Refer an individual for a role via our referral form and if they are successful in securing employment, you will be rewarded appropriately depending on the referral criteria:
  • £25 for temporary referrals that became successful placements. Must have worked continuously for 4 weeks and timesheeted 37 hours.
  • £100 for a permanent referral that became a successful placement.
  • £1,000 for a successful referral for a role working within The Recruitment Co. itself, i.e. a hiring/recruitment role within our business; Recruitment Administrator, Recruitment Consultant or a Candidate Resourcer. An additional £1,000 rewarded if the individual successfully passes their probation period.
• Referrers will only be eligible for the reward if they have completed the form on the The Recruitment Co. website.
• Only when the referral itself is the source of placement will the award be made, i.e. direct apply, or direct contact from a candidate is not a referral.
• There’s no limit on the number of referrals.
• Referrers will not be eligible for the reward if the individual recommended is already registered with The Recruitment Co.
• If there is more than one referral for an individual, the cash reward will be given to the person behind the referral which directly leads to the placement.
• Rewards can only be claimed if the referred candidate is placed in a role. Until then there will be no payment entitlement.
• There’s no limit on the number of referrals as long as they are made via our referral form in order to be eligible for the cash.
• We can only accept referrals for people who are already working in the UK, or those who are eligible to work in the UK.
• To qualify for a reward, your referred individual must be placed within 12 months of their registration.
• Should a placement be made, we will contact you to discuss your cash reward.
• Rewards are paid quarterly and only after the candidate has met these T&Cs.
• In the event of any dispute, our. decision will be final.
• Referral rewards will not apply:
  • If the web form isn’t filled in
  • Until the referee is placed in a role
  • If the referee is already registered with The Recruitment Co.
  • The referee applies directly for an advertised role
