Hi, My name is Lauren!

I am a Candidate Consultant here at The Recruitment Co. and I look after clients & candidates in the West Yorkshire area. I love my job and the people I work with, Always In Good Company! In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and travelling.

I feel I can fully be myself in the workplace and I’m so proud to work for a company that is celebrating PRIDE. I believe it’s really important to always recognise and continue to fight for. The world has come a long way in recognising PRIDE but there is still further to go. Being a part of the LGBT+ community myself, It’s incredible to see The Recruitment Co. celebrate it.

Personally, I celebrate PRIDE by attending some Pride events in the summer, although I feel it’s important to celebrate throughout the year too by being my true self.

In the workplace, The Recruitment Co. are always so welcoming, friendly & just a safe place to be.

As always, there is room for improvement, some of my suggestions would be: Hosting some sort of webinar/workshop where everyone is invited to learn more about PRIDE. If you can, donate to an LGBTQ+ charity. Celebrate pride across social media with information posts & pictures of staff getting involved and decorating their offices.
