Job Opportunity: Casual Receptionist –Carrickfergus

Rate: £13.26 per hour
Hours: Casual — as needed. Flexibility is essential!
Location: Carrick location

 Key Responsibilities

  • Be the friendly face at reception — warm, efficient, and customer-focused
  • Operate booking and point-of-sale systems with confidence
  • Handle ticket sales, refunds, floats, and daily cash reconciliation
  • Answer phones, manage the switchboard and PA system like a pro
  • Share helpful info about facilities and council-wide services
  • Take control when needed: manage lighting and respond to emergencies following established protocols

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above) OR 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • 6 months clerical experience in a customer-focused environment
  • 6 months Microsoft Office experience
