Job Title: Credit Controller
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday
Location: Oldham, OL8
Full Time, Permanent opportunity (Office based)

The Recruitment Co is currently on the search for an experienced Credit Controller to join one of our clients team on a full time, Permanent contract. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to up-skill their knowledge further within the accounts department. Duties include:

• Setting up new client’s contracts (Billing)
• Credit Checking companies (regular checking)
• Bulk Invoicing
• Overdue Balance chasing
• Providing administrative support to the finance team
• Keeping close watch on debtor account balances
• Issuing of statements
• Reconciling remittances
• Supplier invoices, collection/delivery notes present prior to invoice being approved
• Supplier disputes raised by internal teams (investigation to close any issues)
• Collect and reconcile credit notes and invoices owed to the company

Person specification:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Confidence and persistence.
• The ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Strong IT skills including EXCEL ( spreadsheets)
• High attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise a heavy workload
• Good analytical skills
• Good knowledge of using Accounting software packages.
• 2-3 years Credit Control experience would be preferred but not essential.
• ACA qualified – Preferred but not essential
