Customer Service Advisor

Location: Strangford Area
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary until January 2027
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and customer-focused organisation based in the Strangford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong communication skills and customer service experience who enjoys helping customers and resolving queries in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties

• Deliver a high standard of customer service via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
• Act as a customer advocate, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Record and process customer requests accurately.
• Diagnose and log maintenance and repair issues.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure customer issues are resolved effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Support the wider team with administrative and customer service duties as required.

Essential Criteria

• Four GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
• Minimum of 1 year’s customer service experience.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
