We are currently recruiting for a Good Relations Officer (band 5 ) to support the delivery of community engagement and relationship-building initiatives across the local area.
– Fermanagh
– £16.90 per hour
– 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
– 3-Month Temporary Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Work with community groups, statutory bodies, and voluntary organisations to build community capacity.
- Promote positive cross-community relationships and engagement.
- Support the development of projects within rural communities.
- Monitor and administer grants and funding programmes.
- Liaise with funding partners and stakeholders, including local councils.
- Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support relating to funded projects.
- Attend community meetings and stakeholder events, including occasional evening meetings.
Essential Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT proficiency.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with community, voluntary, or charitable organisations.
- Knowledge of grant funding or project monitoring processes.
- Experience of community development, engagement, or partnership working.
