We are currently recruiting for a Good Relations Officer (band 5 ) to support the delivery of community engagement and relationship-building initiatives across the local area.

– £16.90 per hour
– 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
– 3-Month Temporary Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Work with community groups, statutory bodies, and voluntary organisations to build community capacity.
• Promote positive cross-community relationships and engagement.
• Support the development of projects within rural communities.
• Monitor and administer grants and funding programmes.
• Liaise with funding partners and stakeholders, including local councils.
• Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support relating to funded projects.
• Attend community meetings and stakeholder events, including occasional evening meetings.

Essential Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT proficiency.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working with community, voluntary, or charitable organisations.
• Knowledge of grant funding or project monitoring processes.
• Experience of community development, engagement, or partnership working.
