As a handyman you will be reporting to the facilities team leader/manager helping complete site duties, along with detailed PPMS.

JOB TYPE:

• Temporary to Permanent.

DUTIES:

• Complete task like painting, metal works, wood repairs, tool work, general low-Medium level repairs, plumbing work, walking contractors around site and any other tasks required by management.
• Complete the weekly audit tasks as required using the CMMS.
• Support the facilities team leader and liaise with the facilities manager for an up to date list of jobs requiring completion.
• Assist with cleaning, or any other duties stipulated by the facilities team leader/manager.
• Ensure that all relevant Health & Safety practices are adhered to and that any revisions of risk assessments or safe systems of work are communicated.
• Communicate effectively with staff both verbally and written and ensure that critical information is provided to the supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the manager and communicate regularly ensuring that critical information is shared.

SHIFT TIME:

• 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Monday to Friday

SALARY:

• £11.99 per hour

No experience necessary as full training is available. Attention to details and some basic numerical skills is important for this handyman role.

The site in Yatton is easily accessible by train from Weston-super-Mare or Bristol. The site is local to Clevedon.
