30 Hours Per Week – Rota Basis (must be flexible from 8am – 10pm)

£12.71 per hour Monday – Friday
£17.92 per hour after 8pm Monday-Friday and all day Saturday
£23.26 per hour on Sundays

We are currently recruiting for a Hospital X-Ray Porter to join a busy healthcare environment in Craigavon. This role requires a flexible individual who can work a rota pattern covering shifts from 8am – 10pm Monday-Sunday.

Key Duties:

• Safely transfer patients between wards, departments and clinical areas.
• Escort and transport patients to and from the X-Ray Department.
• Assist with moving patients using wheelchairs, trolleys and hospital beds.
• Ensure patients arrive at appointments promptly and safely.
• Provide assistance to nursing and radiography staff when required.
• Collect and deliver equipment, specimens and documentation throughout the hospital.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, dignity and confidentiality.
• Adhere to all hospital health and safety procedures.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be fully flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.
• Ability to undertake a physically demanding role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous porter, healthcare or customer service experience desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, professional and patient-focused approach.
