We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing part-time Library assistant for our Client based in Randalstown This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING ASAP
Rate of pay £11.49 per hour
2 Week rota basis
Week 1
Mon 9.45am – 1.15pm
Wed 1.30-6
Thurs 10-5
Fri 10-5
Sat 10-4
Week 2
Tues 10-5
Wed 10-6
Thurs 10-1
Fri 10-5
Rate of pay is £12.52 per hour. Saturday pay rate £18.78 per hour
Duties include:
· Handling client queries using print & electronic resources
· Registering clients
· Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations
· Provide all library services to meet the learning , information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.
Essential Criteria:
· Must have 5 GCSE’s including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent
· 1 years experience providing face to face service with the public.
· Experience working with young children and elderly people
· Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information
