What you’ll do:

• Drive and maintain a specialist vehicle fleet, including fire appliances and support vehicles
• Deliver and manage essential equipment, supplies, and personnel to operational incidents and training exercises
• Test, inspect, and maintain critical operational equipment, ensuring everything is ready for immediate deployment
• Participate in a regional standby rota, providing out-of-hours logistical support
• Support the cleaning, decontamination, and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and facilities
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory management using digital systems

What we’re looking for:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a service delivery environment with LGV driving
• Full, current HGV/LGV category C and B+E UK driving licences
• Forklift truck licence (or willingness to train)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good IT skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
• Technical or maintenance experience
• Knowledge of emergency service equipment
• Cat D1 UK driving licence
