The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a machine operator for our Client based in the Wellington area.

This is a temporary to permanent position starting immediately for a successful candidate.

Working hours are Monday to Friday on double day shift OR a night shift Sunday to Thursday:

Monday to Friday day shift
Week 1 – 6am-2pm
Week 2 – 2pm- 10pm

Starting pay is £11.91 an hour once you are trained on other machines then pay increases will begin.

Sunday to Thursday night shift
10pm-6am

Starting pay is £13.10 an hour once you are trained to operate more machines then pay increases will begin.

As a Production Operative at Wellington you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines

As a Machine Operator duties will include:

• Demonstrate competence in timely machine setup, minimising downtime and maximising efficiencies by working effectively as part of a team.
• Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

Essential requirements The right person for this role will have:

• A willingness to undertake manual work
• Be hard-working and reliable
• Be a good timekeeper
• Have machine operator experience (although this is not essential as training will be given)
• Be a good team player with a positive attitude to work.
