Hours: Full time, 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday (8 hr shifts) Mandatory call out rota required (approx. 1 in 4 weekends)
Salary: £30,000 per annum + call outs

Responsibilities:
In this key role, you will be working within a team of Engineers and responding to breakdown maintenance, swiftly identifying and resolving issues to minimise downtime. Experienced in various types of welding is a must.You will also be involved in;

• General Mechanical fitting, component assembly/dissemble
• Centrifugal Pumps
• All types of welding
• Fabrication
• Threaded & welded pipe work
• Machining (Milling & Turning)
• Industrial environments
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all Health and Safety standards and regulations, PPE requirements at all times

Requirements:

• NVQ in mechanical engineering would be beneficial; or
• Knowledge/experience of mechanical engineering and working within a manufacturing environment
• Welding experience is Essential
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work on your own initiative and within a team
• Good communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time keeping
