Operations Manager

Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | Belfast- £19.10 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a busy operational team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with experience in business, finance, payments or IT to manage teams, drive service improvement and support the delivery of high-quality services across a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational teams to achieve service targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify more efficient ways of working.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Analyse data and produce reports to support decision-making.
• Lead projects and support the implementation of new services and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and audit requirements.
• Support senior management and deputise when required.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must have either:

• A degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance or IT with at least 2 years’ relevant experience, including 1 year at management level; or
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a Business, Finance, Payments or IT environment, including 1 year at management level.

You should also be able to demonstrate:

• Experience leading and managing teams in a target-driven environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience developing or improving business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with both internal and external customers.
• A proven track record of delivering measurable improvements.
