Job Title: Pensions Administrator
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £21,000-£26,000 per year full time permanent

Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday Mon-Thurs 0830-1630 and on a Fri 0830-1400

Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Pensions Administrator to work for a company based in Cardiff on a full time permanent basis.

You would be working for an independent, whole of market Chartered Financial advice firm. They pride ourselves on long term relationships and client retention. The business has a fantastic reputation and have grown from client referrals and introducers.

Main Job roles:

  • Work closely and support Financial Advisers with their client investments and service needs.
  • ?????Communicate with clients on a regular basis to provide updates and assist with any questions/queries.
  • Liaise with third parties and providers.
  • Prepare annual review reports by obtaining details on client holdings and requesting valuations.
  • Produce compliant illustrations, quotations and cashflow modelling.
  • Process new business applications and chase outstanding requirements..
  • Analyse ceding information from providers.
  • Completion of general tax calculations.
  • Prepare suitability letters.
  • Manage and organise your own workflow.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working in a Financial Planning firm or Financial Services (e.g. banking experience) of at least 1 year
  • Great analytical skills
  • A keen grasp of information technology
  • Professional attitude
  • Personal accountability and strong work ethic
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Financial Planning 1 year (Preferred)
