Our client is currently looking for a Process and Quality Coordinator to join their team due to rapid growth, they have a small team so they are looking for someone who can coordinate staff to ensure site processes are followed. This role is a full time position, but may be available part time for the right candidate.

What you can expect in this role:

• End-to-end production coordination, including ensuring staff levels, logistics, stock and materials are in place on a timely basis so that orders can be fulfilled as efficiently as possible.
• Implementation of Quality Assurance processes
• Creation and maintenance of spec sheets.
• Fulfilling customer sample requests for existing or potential customers.
• Maintaining HACCP plans.

What we need from you:

• Experience in the food industry, eg with SALSA or BRC and with best practice and record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills and some customer service experience
• Candidates should have experience in maintaining HACCP plans.
• Interest in sustainability programmes such as Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance – with a view to developing processes and maintaining compliance.
• It is key that the person taking on this role is able to engage with and motivate our excellent factory team.
• The right candidate will also be able to engage with our international customer and supplier base, recognising that most customers and suppliers know of each other.
• This is a technical role and so competency with process, a structured approach and attention to detail will be fundamental.
