Part of the Blackpool community since 1926, Gledhill is one of the largest cylinder manufacturers in the UK, manufacturing vented and unvented hot water cylinders in copper and stainless steel, along with a full range of alternative energy products.

Due to growth and expansion, we have vacancies for Production Operators to join the growing team at our Blackpool site. These vacancies offer fantastic opportunities to join a well-established company with good benefits for an initial 6-month period leading to permanent contracts for successful candidates.
Ours is a busy Manufacturing environment and we’re looking for people who are prepared to work hard, are punctual and reliable and are flexible and available to work various shifts and overtime if required. You’ll have good communication skills and a reasonable level of manual dexterity. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be great but is not essential as we’ll train you in what you need to know and do.

As a Production Operator at Gledhill, your duties will include:

• Operating equipment and machinery to produce hot water cylinders
• Participating in our continuous improvement drive by highlighting Health & Safety, Quality and process concerns and contributing ideas which may improve our performance or the quality of our products
• Working as part of our team
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained

Our Production Operators work 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday either on day shift between 6.00 am and 2.30 pm over 5 days or evening shift between 2.30 pm to 12.30 am over 4 days. We pay £10.50 per hour
