The Recruitment Co. are delighted to be hiring a Quality Control Technician for our client based in Glenrothes.

Contact: Permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm. Friday 8am to 3pm.
Location: Glenrothes
Pay: £25k- £30k DOE

Your role as a Quality Control Technician will include…

– Responsible for the quality monitoring of all manufactured components in and out of the facility.
– Maintain quality standards by approving materials, in-process production, and finished products,
– Lead implementation of new systems as required and lead aspects of internal audits and accreditation audits.
– Responsible for quality control of all manufactured components within the factory.
– Responsible for acceptance or rejection of materials, in-process and finished items according to defined requirements.
– Read and understand technical documents/drawings and specifications, including dimensioning and tolerances.
– Manage reject documentation/processes in accordance with company procedures, returning clearly identified components and paperwork to the relevant team leader.
– Recommend adjustments to processes or products to improve their quality. ? Produce reports and documentation as required.
– Analyse information and action conclusions as required.

What our client is looking for in a Quality Control Technician…

– Experience in a production setting
– Time spent in a similar quality role.
– Timber Manufacturing or joinery/carpentry experience is beneficial but not required.
