Knowledge of load monitoring equipment or background in an engineering/technical company (advantageous).
Previous experience in offshore wind or Renewables, Oil & Gas sectors.
Proven ability to establish new customers and develop existing accounts.
Valid driving licence, passport, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Role Overview:

As a Renewables Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing our Renewables pipeline and client relationships. Your focus will be on developing profitable new business in the renewable energy sector, while shaping our offshore wind strategy and activities in this market.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and nurture long-term strategic client and channel relationships in the Renewables category.
Develop and manage agent networks to maximise sales opportunities and project follow-ups.
Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure orders.
Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ internally, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.
Work collaboratively with the Business Development Head and wider team to execute the sales strategy.
Proactively seek new target customers, regions, and projects, prioritising efforts for maximum return.
Provide market intelligence on competitors and changes in the Renewables sector.
Frequent travel to the Cowes office, Isle of Wight, in the initial six months, reducing to once a month after the probation period.
