The Recruitment Co. are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join a clothing manufacturer in the East Manchester area.

Candidates will initially work in Ardwick M12, however you will move to their new factory in Bredbury, Stockport mid April.

The shifts are:

7am-3pm Monday – Wednesday
7am-2.30pm Thursday
7am – 1pm Friday

Pay Rate: £11.98 per hour

About you:

• Be hardworking & reliable.

• Ability to work in a team with a friendly environment.

• Have an interest or work experience in sewing

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to be flexible and dedicated in an innovative and expanding company

Responsibilities:

• Operating a variety of different industrial sewing machines.

• Knowledge of sewing techniques for a wide variety of products and styles.

• An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards at all time

• A ‘can do’, positive attitude

• The ability to work as part of a team, involving other machinists and quality checkers

• The ability to work efficiently to enable orders to go out on time but without compromising on the quality of their work

• Ability to use industrial sewing machine and perform basic machine maintenance i.e. changing needle and thread and cleaning the machine

• Operate on different stations as and when required

• Willing to take on new challenges.
