We are currently recruiting for two Transport Operations & Customs Coordinators to join a busy nightshift operation in Ballymena.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop a long-term career within transport and logistics while gaining experience across multiple operational functions in a fast-paced, industry-leading business.

Working within a 24/7 operation supporting major UK retailers, you’ll be part of a team responsible for coordinating time-critical freight movements and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

About the Role

This is not a standard administration role. You’ll be working at the heart of a busy transport operation, supporting the movement of Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries for major retail customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will receive training and exposure across a range of operational disciplines, including:

  • Customs administration and compliance
  • Transport planning
  • Northern Ireland and UK transport operations
  • Customer service
  • Traffic operations
  • General transport administration

You’ll be part of a team where accuracy, communication and problem-solving are essential to maintaining a high-performing logistics operation.

The Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in customs processes, however applicants with transport planning, logistics or customer service experience within a transport environment are also encouraged to apply.

Essential:

  • Previous experience within Transport, Logistics or Customs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Proactive and positive approach to work

Desirable:

  • Customs declaration experience
  • Transport planning experience
  • Knowledge of UK & Ireland transport operations
  • Experience working within a 24/7 logistics environment
