We are looking for a permanent Warehouse Assistant in St George, Bristol.

The site is easily accessible from Eastleigh, Romsey and Southampton by train or bus, but there is free car parking if needed. The role is an immediate start following a successful interview.

Reporting to: Depot Manager

Salary: £23,145 per annum

Shift:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday – 7.30-4.30pm (early finish on a Friday)

Main Duties:
Picking customer and branch orders.
Checking and putting away goods-in.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Ensuring outgoing pallets are stacked safely and correctly to minimise breakages.
Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring company property, including stock, is
looked after.
Conducting daily stock checks.
Identifying and notifying management of products that may need to be created or added to clearance stock.
Putting away customer and store returns.

The ideal person will:
Have good communication skills.
Be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and customers.
Provide industry-leading customer service.
