About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Warehouse Operative/Driver to join client. This is a varied and hands-on role that supports essential services by ensuring the safe cleaning, preparation, delivery, and collection of community equipment used across Northern Ireland.

You’ll work as part of a busy logistics team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and accuracy within the warehouse, as well as professional engagement with staff, service users, and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Cleaning & Decontamination

  • Clean, disinfect, inspect, dismantle and reassemble returned community equipment.
  • Identify items suitable for reissue, repair or disposal.
  • Maintain high standards in line with Controls Assurance Standards and MHRA guidelines.
  • Keep detailed decontamination records and use barcode scanners as required.

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, check, store, pick, assemble and dispatch stock in line with procedures.
  • Manage stock rotation, participate in stock counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
  • Liaise professionally with Trust staff and members of the public.

Driving & Delivery Duties

  • Drive a range of vehicles (up to 3.5T) to deliver and collect equipment and continence products across Northern Ireland.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain logs and report defects.
  • Demonstrate and assemble equipment for clients as required.
  • Operate vehicle lifts, ramps and mechanical handling equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all Health & Safety, Infection Control and Fire Safety procedures.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing/footwear.
  • Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Handle all records in line with FOI, GDPR and records management requirements.

Essential Criteria

To apply, you must have:

Option 1:

  • Three GCSEs (A*-C) including English and Maths, and at least 1 years’ experience in a procurement/logistics environment.

OR

Option 2:

  • Two years’ relevant experience in a procurement/logistics environment.

And:

  • A valid Category B driving licence (able to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes).

Desirable

  • Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck)
